Harty Boys talk to City Pages!
Since their debut at the Minnesota Fringe Festival, Levi Weinhagen's and Joshua English Scrimshaw's Harty Boys have attracted an audience looking for bright fun with a satiric edge. The two -- who are also the brains behind Comedy Suitcase -- will bring back their clueless teen detectives for a second year of The Harty Boys Save Christmas, opening Black Friday at the Bryant-Lake Bowl.

Micahel Bay's Super Mario Armageddon in City Pages
The director and writer of Comedy Suitcase's latest production, Michael Bay's Super Mario Armageddon, chat with Ed Huyck of City Pages.

"Mario, the mustached maverick who has bested gorillas, turtles, and all manner of mushroom-based foes, meets his greatest challenge this weekend at the Bryant-Lake Bowl: Filmmaker Michael Bay.
The folks at Comedy Suitcase gleefully jam genres together with Michael Bay's Super Mario Armageddon, a new piece written by Josh Carson (who also plays Mario) and directed by Tim Uren (who gets to play main foil Bowser). The cast also includes Andy Kraft, Emily Jabas, and Comedy Suitcase masterminds Joshua English Scrimshaw and Levi Weinhagen"

Comedy Suitcase Vs. The Ping Pong Balls
Comedy Suitcase submitted their application for the 2011 Minnesota Fringe Festival. If we survive the lottery, we'll present the final show of our first season, The Smothers Brothers Grimm, at this summer's festival. If we lose our battle with the ping pong balls, we'll go with plan "B". Yes, B is for Bowling Alley.
For more information about the show visit The Smothers Brothers Grimm page and watch this space for updates on the lottery!
